I've loss my hair due to the medication the doctor prescribed for my illness. It's terrible and it's added to my struggle with this disease, and chronic pain. They've taken me off the medication due to the hair loss. But now I don't know what to do to grow my hair back. If it will come back when it falls out from medication. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice? Can anyone help

I lost some hair due to Anemia, but not caused by medication and not total hair loss. The most important thing is to give your hair time to grow back. It could take a few years. If you haven't already, I would suggest getting your Ferritin levels checked too, as anemia could slow the growth rate of new hair.

There's a natural way to help accelerate your hair. Organic nettles can be purchased from mountain rose herbs online. You make infusions (deeply steeped tea) from the leaf and drink daily. My hair has fallen out over meds, surgery, anemia and unknown. My hair doesn't grow quickly but this is the only thing that speeds it up and nettles will also help keep your iron in check.

What is the medication? Also do you have thyroid issues that can cause hair loss too.

Yes I am hyperthyroid. Not a medication. Nettles is a leaf that grows in nature. It can help regrow your hair.

Thanks Zen! I will try your suggestion. No LMB I don't have thyroid problems. A side effect of a medication was hair loss but the doctor never told me because he hadn't had a patient lose their hair. He said it was my medication. It happened so fast after I started taking the med. it was suppose to help with pain.
