I'm at my end. I'd need like 60 trigger point injections every month for relief or nerve block once a week since me asking to be able to take tramadol as needed 2x a day makes me a drug seeker to pain management. My VA Dr actually told me my pain can't be that bad since I don't want surgery when I decided to turn to then instead of civilian dr's.
CBD oil (I vape or put it in ginger ale) can help a bit. You can also get it in a gel-form to mix with smoothies. It's legal in all 50 states. Maybe someone else here can help with other kinds of oils.
I understand. I use 300mg (a high dose) and mix with blueberry flavor (they have many, many flavors with 0mg nictonie). It helps me eat too when I get sick from meds. If you want to vape, a vape shop should be able to help. Some head shops sell the liquid stuff (mine is cherry and has melatonin in it, if I need it to help me sleep). Health food stores sometimes carry the liquid too. It doesn't work for everyone; but it does help me a bit. I tried it because I was desperate for non-pill options to help. I also have tramadol and a muscle relaxer. I don't use them as often with the oil.
Thanks I also vape so I'll be looking into that. I just am tired of being treated like a drug seeker. I get why drs are acting that way... but you can not even work out to try and get better when you are exhausted due to the pain. Even yoga makes me so exausted from pain that I sleep 15+ hours
CBD Tincture has helped me a bit. I prefer the tincture better because I can take it orally by itself, or wth food. Another thing I've tried is CBD salve/lotion. The kind I used (pictures) is heated and has menthol also. It's available it hot or cool. So it's almost like a super strong bengay. I've had a lot of success from it.
