Has anyone tried hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatment?

Mar 10, 2017 4:38 AM

I find it excellent for brain fog and fatigue and it does seem to keep pain at bay, but when the pain comes back, IT COMES BACK. Has anyone else experienced the same?

I don't think I would try that, I'd rather have a constant stream of pain rather than the pain back to minimal levels for it to hit me bang in the middle with a force like that, I wouldn't be able to cope with that it would be too much for me and I've got my kids to think about.
I'm glad it helps you that much, it must be great to have a clear head again

I've never tried it or even know of a place offering it.
But i have gone scuba diving. Felt my best at the bottom but as i came back up it slowly came back.

Honestly,
I felt better when I was swimming. I worked in the water and not a single part of me felt pain.
I was sore but in a productive way.

I do Hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatment once a week. It's cleared the brain fog and tiredness to a manageable level, which allowed me to go back to work. I am on P4 (33feet). If you have any questions about it, just let me know. I hope this helps.

I used to be an avid scuba diver but after 2 spine fusions, not so much..... YES YES YES Hyperbaric works! I've noticed that at 60 feet (2 atmospheres) most of my pain goes away, only to comeback after decomp. I went to the hyperbaric chamber on Catalina island and tested the theory there. Stayed consistent with 2atmospheres pressure seemed to be my pain free zone. Wish I could stay there!!

Spearfisher. You have a pool or a friend has one? Get a tank of 70% oxygen and sit at the bottom of a 6' pool and get the same side as a chamber ride with the oxygen concentration going in you. Pressure will not be the same but the oxygen concentration will. Do a 20-30 min dive. Will help a lot.

I have wanted to try hyperbarics forever but the damned government won't let Medicare approved facilities treat it for an "Off-Label Use" and as it currently stands, RSD (CRPS) & other forms of Chronic pain are just WAAAAAY TOOO OFF LABEL for their liking!! As it stood when I last checked into it about 4 -6 months ago, I couldn't even PAY 💵💰 COLD HARD CASH for the treatment at the kind of hyperbaric medicine centers that I would need to be treated at because they run the risk of losing the ability to treat Medicare clients and here in the USA, with the outbreak of diabetes and non-healing wounds, they can't afford to NOT be licensed by Medicare‼️

In fact just about the ONLY WAY that I can get approved for hyperbarics is if I was Diabetic and/or had some type of non-healing wound!!

How's that for screwed up!!!

That's all a result of the massive healthcare overhaul that our last president pushed through with much objection!! I'm hoping & it's looking like this new bill in congress offers some very good opportunities to give the locals control of their own healthcare, rather than letting an unelected bureaucrat in Washington DC run it into the ground!!
