Have you ever lost all hope of relief/cure?

Mar 01, 2017 9:33 AM

Yesterday, I was refused a pain shot because the doctors felt they were putting me at risk of organ failure so they sent me back home. It's the only thing that takes the edge off fibro pain for me and I've been in bed crying for the past 24 hours. I couldn't even get up to collect my daughter from school. It's just been one day and I already know that death will be preferable to being in this terrible pain everyday for the rest of my life

I have no hope that I'll be cured or that doctors will help.
Doctors are limited in their knowledge and ability to do anything.
Have you seen a naturopath?
Being in the younger side when this all started doctors refused to give me anything and told me to just live with it. I found that lifestyle and diet changes have made the most difference, and no doctor believes in food intolerances or chemical intolerances so they won't get you to remove things that may be hurting you from your life. I would probably be dead by now if it weren't for the naturopath finding food intolerances and me cutting those foods (the doctor at the time told me to put the foods back in because naturopathic medicine is bullshit, even though i felt better without them).
Every little bit counts. Hang in there
