Having eye surgery

Aug 11, 2017 2:50 PM

I found out surprisingly in May that I have a hole in the retina in the right eye. Between the eye specialist being busy and having a hard time getting in to see him and scheduling surgery, I'm just having surgery this Tuesday morning. Has anyone had surgery like this? I have to lay down face down for 3 days. There are things that you can rent or buy to help you with this. It is called vitrectomy equipment. Anyway I'm getting very nervous about this. Does anyone else get so nervous and worry days in advance of something? I've always been like that and it makes me hurt. I could use your prayers.

I am definitely praying for you and here I am worried about getting 5 teeth pulled Monday. Your surgery is way more serious, I'm definitely praying for you and praying for your recovery also. Do you have to lay face down the whole 3 days or while you sleep or for a certain amount of time each day?

Hi I'm sorry you have to get this done. I will be thinking of you. Of course it's very normal to be anxious for a surgery like this I would be very nervous 💕
