headaches

Mar 06, 2015 4:30 PM

Since all my stuff started mid last year I have had new headaches that people all tell me are pretty much migraines. I usually only get them about once a week or every couple weeks. For about the last week I have had them come and go daily. Not all major but at least enough to annoy me for hours and the tramadol I have for pain doesn't help with them much. I guess my question is this a serious thing I need to have checked out or just try and deal with them til my next appointment?

JayS77 Have you had a MRI or cat scan of your head done yet? I would ask about a referral to an Neurologist. There could be something going on in there if it has increased to daily.

JayS77, my neurologist told me if I ever have a change in my migraines that's not like normal and doesn't go back to what's normal, it should be checked out.

I had a cat scan back in August when this all began. The VA has set me up with a neurologist but don't see that Dr til April 22nd. One other neurologist said your test look fine I don't know why they sent you to me, I can't do anything for you and in his opinion I don't have fibro cause males rarely get it. So trying to wait til the Apr appointment.
