Health issues and wedding planning

Aug 25, 2016 2:52 AM

I have many issues that have gone undiagnosed. One issue is taking up all of my time right now and we think it's either chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia. No diagnosis yet but one thing is for certain, I went from happy and planning a wedding to sobbing and having to be pumped full of morphine in the ER at 1 am. Sorry. I just had to vent a little.

Thank you for being so welcoming.
Unfortunately the only person to help is my fiance. I just moved across country and haven't made any friends yet.

littlemilkflower, you will find new friends just give it time. As for your upcoming wedding, congrats and I'm sorry to hear that you're carrying such a heavy pain load.
Realize sweetie that since several of these conditions have similar symptoms; it takes time to get a definitive diagnosis. However, using this app and charting your pain you will be able to print copies for the doctor to look at. It's much easier for them to make decisions as well as what tests to try based on your drawings and pain chart. It sure is a lot easier than trying to explain it all.
And don't you worry your pretty little head... You are woman, hear you roar!!! We can get through anything and now that you found us; you'll see, you got this!! Welcome to the community {{{Hugs}}}πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»πŸ˜Š

The main reason I downloaded this app was specifically so I could chart my pain especially because it migrated and fluctuates but I truly do appreciate having a place to talk to people who understand what it's like being in pain 24/7.

You've come to the right place for understanding! I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling. Moving across the country is an exciting adventure, and a giant stress trigger. Give yourself some down time to breathe and adjust to an entirely new life. Plus you've got to doctor shop and establish an entirely new medical team. This is a big deal. It's no wonder you're having a flare up. Hang in there and God bless.

Praying flare is short lived! Rest until. Frequent breaks. Simplify activities. Hugs love & prayers! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ
