Am so sorry to hear this. I am fairly new here so haven't met everyone yet. How is Pat tonight? Is she in the hospital now?

It's a challenge trying to keep things together. If you look at everything you need to do it can overwhelm a person. Maybe if you broke it down. Make a list putting the things you absolutely have to do at the top. Then add the things you need to do but won't be a crisis of it's not done. Now add the things you want to accomplish. If you go about it one step at a time it doesn't seem so overwhelming.

Wishing you the very best. Glad your daughter was there and kept her cool in a tough situation.

Oh Star, I'm sorry to hear about Pat! She was doing so well for so long! Eddieray was a special person and one of the first people to welcome me back when I came here, (Moparmom) it's hard to fill someone else's shoe's after they are gone. Here's some advice from when I took care of my Aunt. To help stay organized and not overlap any appointments carry a small 2 year calendar that you can put in your purse and write down any appointments or thing's you have going on that day. If you have to go somewhere it is wise to leave someone who can sit with Pat and help her do the thing's that she needs to do while your gone. Home health care is a great option for home physical therapy for 4 weeks if she has Medicare. They also have a nurse come out at least once a week to check on her and a CNA to bath her 3 times a week if you like. It can be a crazy schedule but it can also take a load of pain off you from having to try to do all that yourself. I Pray that Pat is not hurting today and that she'll heal up correctly from the fall. You all are very special to us, please keep us posted on Pat and how you are doing, and remember to take care of yourself too! Much Love and support as well as hug's and Prayer's headed your way 😘🙏💖🌹
