Hello achingarm,
First I'd like to say that I'm sorry you're in such pain. Second, you said you have arthritis, is it osteo, age or injury related, or rheumatoid? Are you seeing a rheumatologist for your pain or primary physician?
It's very possible that you may have something torn if you've injured it recently. Be careful taking too many ibuprofen as it can cause an ulcer bleed, then you'll have more pain and problems. I would suggest that if your in that much pain that you get to an ER or Ready Care to get some xrays.
Please update here when you can. I'm concerned. God bless you, and I'll be praying.

Yes. No answers as of yet. They don't much care it seems. Throw a pain medication at you and send you on your way

I agree achingarm I go to see my doctor next week but I know just what he'll do same as always, write a prescription & send me on my way. No wonder our bodies are in pain, we are polluted by chemical toxins called pills the doctors are more than happy to prescribe, why wouldn't they be, they get $$$ from big pharmaceutical companies for doing so. It makes me mad and disgusted, I know there are natural remedies out there to help us, ones that work in harmony with our natural biological system.

Achingarm247, I'm sorry you are hurting so badly. If you haven't had xrays, you need to have them done. If you have, then maybe you need an MRI, unless something else showed up in test results. I had an impinged shoulder (twice) and it's very painful, all the way to the elbow. I used pain ointment, massages (gentle), and heat, plus I was put through PT each time. I hope you can find out what's causing the pain and get it treated for relief. Hugs & prayers! 🙂💕🙏🌼
