Help.... has this happened to u???

Ok I woke up at six am feeling 👍 great. Minimal pain and full of energy. I did my morning physical therapy and felt fine.
Then for no reason I get severe ankle pain. I knew there was no structural damage. I didn't injure it in any way. I was laying on the couch when the pain started. And I haven't done anything in the past few days but lay on the couch.
I was in so much pain I was crying 😭 uncontrollably. I took all the OTC meds I could. Used a heating pad, elevated my foot, massaged it, everything I could.
After two hours my husband insisted I go to the ER. So I get there and I explained it's not injured 🤕. They took X-rays and gave me only a Tylenol three. So they tell me to go home 🏡 elevate my foot, take Tylenol and wrapped my foot and discharged me while I was still crying 😭

Have anyone else had random severe pain come on out of nowhere? If so what do you do for the pain? How do you get through the pain? Do you ever get so overwhelmed with pain you want to give up and die?

I have had the same problem In my upper abber abdomin, id be hunched over crying in pain and er would give me a gavascon(I think tou call ot tumms there) and send me home still in horrible pain.
Fortunately for me I have tramadol and palexia I can take more of to take the edge off.
but I know how you feel, they make you feel like your.just trying to score drug or your an idiot. Its a horrible feeling.
Im sorry you had to go through that

So sorry you are dealing with that. I have had that happen a few times in the last 4-5 months. A whole day/week wasted, spent crying & taking every possible medication but getting little to no relief.

Try to rest /sleep as much as possible. If nothing else sleep will help you forget about the pain haha. I also try to watch funny mindless shows and movies. I recently binge watched multiple seasons of American dad, friends, & America's next top model. Let yourself eat some unhealthy foods for comfort and stay in pj's as long as possible ❤️

On the really bad days I understand the feeling of giving up. I don't know how you wouldn't feel that way honestly. I have found a mantra to repeat over and over in my head to help me get school work done or just survive the day. I have even wrote it in sharpie on my arm when I was about to quit all my classes. Mine is "you are not a quitter, you are a stubborn bitch" haha, might sound crazy but it works for me and my personality 😂

Ctsego, I don't have it but I've heard others describe it... CRPS. H have you looked into this? Talk to your doc about it. Sending hugs, love, and prayers you feel better soon! 🙂💕🙏🌸

I am so sorry. That is awful and not fun at all. I've had my legs and arms give out on me. Never like that. Ouch..
