Here we go.

Good morning peeps :-)
Today's the day. They said I could eat a light breakfast this morning, but I've got absolutely no appetite this morning. I keep talking myself up to it. Even one of the nurses at my PCPs office said to me yesterday, "Amanda, you are brave as nails for doing this." I said, "Holly, I've just got to roll with the punches already. Keep my head on straight and tight, and just go with it." She said, I would never have enough gumption to do this kind of procedure without sedation. Hell, if I can get the back of my leg opened without any sedation, I can surely do this. No biggie.

You go, Girl!!! You got this. I know that you will have no problem getting this done. I'll be thinking of you. Sending {{{Hugs}}} and prayers that all goes smoothly.🌻🙏🏻

Alwayz, I made it. Feels like somebody punched the shit out of my back on the left side and did it without sedation. Had a hold of the OR table the entire time. Going to ice and back to bed.

I knew you'd make it, Amanda!! I know it sucks without sedation. When I did it, I almost passed out. At least next time, you'll wait for sedation. Ice, meds and rest!! {{{Hugs}}} my friend.💕🙏🏻🌻

Amanda, you are braver than I am! I'm glad you are through it and can now rest. 🙏🌼

Oh yep, next time I will definetly do sedation in the future. Can I cry now?

And now I've got muscle spasms again. Just on the left side where it was really tight. She did say that I could have some after so I'm going to just roll with it.

Ouch, ouch, & triple ouch! Poor you! Have a good cry..you deserve it! 😭

Flappys, going to do that as well as a hot tub bath now that the novacaine has worn off. Maybe a milkshake later on tonight.

Sounds like a good plan. Rest up and have a peaceful night!

Rest, and heal. Will be sending healing thoughts to you. Gentle hugs.

And the adrenaline has finally stopped. If there ever is a next time, I'll wait for a time that I have a driver available and will go with sedation. That was awful! It didn't help matters that someone had left the spinal needles within my view. That freaked me out totally!
