I wanted to say hey to you all. I just discovered this site and I'm very happy to see a lovely community, it makes it really welcoming. My name is Laura, I'm 23 & from the UK. I have Hypermobility and long story short everything hurts, but I'm sure you all know how rubbish that is! Anyway I just wanted to say hey and offer my ear to anyone who needs it. Have a lovely day!
Welcome to the community AstroTitch. I'm 19 and I'm from Ontario, Canada. I have a brain tumour, degerative disc disease throughout my thoracic spine, a herniated T11-T12 disc with spinal stenosis, tethered spinal cord, and a chronic pain condition that has not been able to be diagnosed yet.
Hey guys reallt like this app compared to the other groups I joined..- lot of it was saying what you can’t say or shouldn’t say which is basically you can’t discuss much of your condition except feeling bad for each other. But here Amazing support. I can only post at night as my whole day gets taken over by my toddler. I’m vimi from the UK.
I live in Texas and moved here for the warmth one heat ago. So much better for my pain than was Kansas City, which is smack in the middle of the jet stream, thus has crazy changes in weather all year long. I have degenerative disc disease spinal stenosis fibromyalgia and several herniated disc‘s in my neck and lower back. I also have sacroiliitis and rainouts disease. I treat my pain with Lidocaine patches, tramadol and braces for my neck and back. I was began receiving disability 11 years ago. I am now mostly out of the wheelchair but have to be very careful with my activities, especially driving. But, I’m blessed to be upright. I spend most days lying flat, and I do a short yoga routine daily that really helps! I go on short walks with a rollator, to keep moving. I’m so lucky to have found this community. Thank you so much. I’m trying to start a YouTube support channel for POSITIVE ways to deal with pain, but my pain keeps stopping me from getting it started! Oh, the IRONY! Lol. Tranquility
Hello, new as well. Found the app to use as a good tool in recording for my Doctor. I am 31, been in rough shape since age 20 when I was run over by my car as it rolled off of a dolly. Broke my back, had spinal surgery that left me worse off than prior. 18 months post-op I was diagnosed with a bone disease and had hip surgery. Lots of fun. Been rough ever since. There hasn't been a big group of support from similar patients that were within 20 years of my own age so it's nice to have understanding company when the world is telling you to chin up or power through. I'm glad and grateful to be among you all, thank you for your presence, Jay.
Hi! I'm new here too. From Quebec, yes French girl, my english sucks but never as much as my CRPS/SDRC systemic algodystrophie... 70% of my body is in excrutiating pain. Don't know how to bear it any longer... welcome. ☺️
