CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

Hi :) new here and have a question

Where we draw our pain, it only shows the sides and back of the body. How do we get the front of the body to show?

You can draw on all 4 sides but only front and back show on your avitar. It is different on CMP -catch my pain app verses the chat app (same company and same posts show up) pain companion app. I use both but CMP is where I journal and track but with the pain companion spp you have the ability to private message members that also have both apps downloaded. Hope I did not confuse the crap out of you with my long response. It gets tricky when we get talking on threads and some people do not know about the other app.

When I put in pain, I only get a back and side view to draw on. I can move left or right in the 1-7 area but it just flips back, side, where I put in pain, then other side then back again. My pains are front joints on hands and ankles all over. I can not access a front body view.

Are you using the catch my pain app or the pain compainion app?

The only one that showed up, the track my pain app that has this forum and we can buy addons to track fatigue etc :)

Well there are two apps that have the same community. When you go to look at the name of your app what does it say?

If you go to the play store look at apps by Sanovation AG there is Catch My Pain and Pain Companion Fibromyalgia they are basically cousins lol. The same users sre there. The charting is different. The biggest difference is the ability to private message. That is the only reason I have both. I use that feature to chat with a couple of members. I prefer to journal on CMP I find it better for me. By the way welcome to the family! Everyone here is nice with no judgments just helpful, if you ask. We really have a great group. Enjoy :)

Welcome Chromashadows! Like LMB, I use the CMP app for charting my pain locations, symptoms, etc. But to participate in the forum chat I use the Pain Companion app. If you aren't using an Android device you can't use the Pain Companion app. For some reason Sanitation hasn't made it available on Apple devices. To me the Pain Companion app's pain charting isn't as detailed or as user friendly. Good luck as you learn to use the app(s)! 🙂💕🙏🌼
