Hi All, I have missed you.

May 02, 2016 1:58 PM

I have missed my pain family and I am sorry for being so disloyal. But I have had a remission of bad pain. So my pain has been light for a few weeks and I have been living it up all I can. I have been spending time with my family and friends. I feel like some it started after I have been using the termeric for a long time. I feel like it is working better then any anti- inflammatory I have been on. It has taken several weeks for it to gain its power but I think that is it. I don't want to give anyone false hope. I think it just has to do with my chemistry.

I had my anniversary. My wife and I had a great time. It was our 25 th. My best friend and his fiancé treated my wife and I to a massage and reflexology. Then lunch and dinner and cards. It was the best dam I have had in a long time. Then my other anniversary gift was delayed. Our anniversary was April 6th. My kids got us a cabin on a lake for 3 days. It was so relaxing. I went for a cortisone injection in my ankle a few days before so I could walk and it worked with minimal pain while there. We Are driving my back as I am writing you. I have missed you all very much and felt bad thAt I wasn't here to encourage you all. But I really wanted to take advantage of the pain free freedom. I hope you all understand. You probably are like we're you gone, I didn't notice. I have that kind of that impression on people. Ha ha. I am sort of an introvert. Well, I just wanted to say hi and hoping your pain is as low as possible. ✌️Best wishes.

When I spelled dam, it was suppose to be day. I am sure you figured that out. I am not one to curse on here. Sorry.

Well, I am new here in the last week, but hi! Glad you had a good few days

Hi Profiler, I am so glad to hear you've had some good days! Happy anniversary! I missed your wit, but will happily go without if it means you're not in so much pain. Welcome back!

Congratulations on the anniversary. Of course you were missed. I am glad you had a great time chilling out with your wife.

Profiler, don't you apologize to us for these blessings! Wow!! I'm so very happy for you & your wife to be able to enjoy life again. Let these memories be your "happy place" when you're having a bad day! Hugs & prayers, & congratulations! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Lol. I saw the dam & knew autocorrect was to blame!

Profiler... Never EVER apologize for feeling GOOD and living your life!! I couldn't be happier for you. You're certainly not being disloyal. There are times when we all have been away from the group because either things are going well and we're getting things done or life gets in the way, things are shitty and you can't post. (That's what had happened to me in the last week so I'm catching up on posts). I love my pain family as you know and y'all are in my daily thoughts whether I can get on or not. I am so happy that you have spent time with friends and I hope you and your wife had a wonderful Happy Anniversary. I'm glad to hear the reason that you were not here was a good one and a happy one. Sending you much love, big {{{Hugs}}} and prayers that things remain good and that you have a blessed week. πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»πŸ˜Š

I am still smiling as I vision the wonderful time you had with minimal to no pain as you celebrated your time with your bride and best friends. No need to apologize . "He got away" "he got away" then the Wicked Witch said, "Oh but you won't my pretty". .... YOU'VE had days pain free...we encourage you enjoy yourself PROFILER...walk, enjoy the lake, enjoy your kids, and best friends, and cabin, Then pain looks at the rest of us and says to us Oh but you won't my pretty! But we smile back at you knowing you get to celebrate . πŸ˜„ Sending you many well wishes, painless days, and more days that you can be missed to build wonderful more memories with your families and friends. Our prayers are with you.

How wonderful for you! Everything worked out so positively. Happy 25 years. It is a marker in your life journey.
Wanted to ask about how you ingest turmeric? Do you use pills ? Is it curcumin or yellow turmeric?
How a sweet day😊

Jul 11, 2016 12:19 AM

Sounds like great news!
I think turmeric has been helpful for me too. I think I take yellow turmeric; it's in pill-form. Can anyone elaborate on the difference between turmeric and curcumin?

Jul 11, 2016 2:47 AM

Curcumin is the natural chemical compound found in turmeric, it is what helps with inflammation etc.

Profiler, I too am an introvert so I totally get it. Theres no need to apologize. I am the worst about falling off the grid. I feel so ashamed of myself sometimes.
Anyway, you made my heart smile with reading about your good weeks. I hope it continues. That's wonderful!
I pray you continue to feel well. Enjoy your life when you can, and Happy Anniversary to you two!! Love, prayers for continued health, and blessings to you both! πŸ’•
