Just wanted to check in.. I've been healing well so far from surgery. So I wanted to open up a discussion for others. How's your day going. The good the bad the ugly. I'm all ears..👂👂👂👂

I'm pretty okay, seeing as its the weekend. I'm pretty dehydrated from whatever cold is going around, and a bit stressed about school next week. We'll be starting to design games, which isn't that stressful at first but then there's panels. 😱😰😩 Only way I know how to describe it is like being on one of those competitive game shows, "here's what you did right. Also, these things all went wrong, now go fix it."

Our games need to involve genetics concepts, which should be interesting. In a few weeks, we'll stop having math, and use that time as prep for confluence (2-3 days where the public can come in and see our projects). It'll probably be fine, I just get nervous.

I had a good night's sleep. It makes a world of difference today. Able to interact with the kids easier. I got a new cast on Thursday and am still getting use to the new position my foot is in - in the cast. Cast tech tried to get me to neutral. And I am like 1 or 2 degrees away from it. So I am feeling IT. Two more weeks and possibly into a boot. Anyway Dr said I am healing ahead of schedule. Dr very positive so I am positive. Hope and pray everyone is having a good day!

I have not slept at all tonight 😢😢😢😢 if the pain doesn't kill me the total lack of sleep will. The sun is coming up and my family will be awake wanting to do things and i will be a zombie😴😴 All on the one day we have together. I'm sorry to be a debbie downer today all. Just so very tired. 😢😢😢😢😢

Still in pain but this is the least pain I've been in, in the last few weeks. Feeling blessed but worried for what tomorrow might bring

Fallen I understand your situation. I did manage to sleep a lot last night and this morning. But it was mostly due to all the pain meds I'm on for post surgery. And even with all the sleep I get I'm still tired and hour later. But my family is all bubbles and light readynto.chat and go out and I only want more sleep. I'm not even eating like I need to. I've had no appetite since surgery. So I pray you have a supportive family who won't push u to hard. And will let you go at your own pace.. Rest up and have a a low pain day .

Siecat12 I know how u feel. Although I'm learning how take on the day one issue at a time. And as for the issues of tomorrow. I try to let them sit til I get there. Especially since depending on what my body says I may not even get to the issues of tomorrow because of the pain or fatigue. But trust me I'm still learning how to do that. So just keep your head up and just get through the day.

I didn't sleep much last night, had to change how I was laying every 15 mins, but I'm still here. My three cats whom have ignored me all summer long suddenly all want to lay on me at the same time, in the same spot, then get upset with me when they don't all fit. LOL Hope everyone is having a light pain day.

Reasonable tonight. Minimal pain right now, only what I can begin to describe as pressure in my pelvis, only on the one side. Makes me feel like something is pulling as well, but it's much better then it was this morning.

Newfibrogirl, I'm glad to hear you're recuperating well. And you too, EquineSister. I slept fairly well but changed positions several times due to the sciatica flare. Today has been a good day except for the now reducing sciatica, thankfully! 🙏🌼

Day started off good. And then as usual I overdid it. Ran the steam cleaner Nd then went to the apple orchard. Fun but now I am miserable!

Fallen, you are NOT a Debbi Downer!! It is harder to cope with everything when you're so very tired. I know because I had another mostly sleepless night again. Hang in there.. I can say from experience that the exhaustion always winds out and you will fall asleep. For everyone else, those who are having a good day, I couldn't be happier for you and for those that are not so good, I'm sending {{{{Hugs}}}} and prayers your way. Day 5 of this migraine and it's getting really stale!!! It's an end of cycle one so I know it will go eventually the only problem is I got it before the cycle, had it the whole time and still do. Well, maybe this is the last one, I never know lately due to being in menopause... LOL!! One more thing to add to the list!! Be done already... I'm not using it..LOL!!! 😜😳
