Hospital/ Paralisis

Feb 08, 2016 11:47 PM

My RSD/CRPS sent me to the hospital today. My left side is basically immobile. I cant puck up my son, I can barely stand. My head is pounding. I have to go see a neurologist. Im really scared and nervous. I have no pain meds and Im really struggling. Has any body experienced this? My back is also swollen and red. Im shaky, weak, and light headed as well.

I'm sorry your going threw this right now. But i have experenced it as well. I have full body, and internal crps and there are time (usually it will begin at night for some reason, idk) that my whole body goes completely paralyzed, other times it will be like my atm or one side like yours is. I tried looking up things online about it, my doctors say it has nothing to do with CRPS. I think that because the amount of pain we are in our body goes into some sort of shock or something like that. Also, could your back be developing the CRPS? Since you said its red and swollen. I know that when I mine spread to about mid back I started fainting alot, getting light headed, and having a LOT of those paralyzed moments. I know I didn't really give advice. But i hope things get a little better soon. Gentle hugs

I'm glad I was able to help! If you ever feel like you are going to faint make sure you sit down and focus on breathing, you do not want to fall and injure yourself and cause any more spreading. Sorry you appointment is so far away but at least its not months away because that happens too often.
