Mar 16, 2018 4:42 PM

Let’s try to best describe our headache in Fibromyalgia, that is one consider one of the worst sintoms of this syndrome.
How do you deal with it?

I first introduce mine, it is persistent, bilateral, I always feel gravative pain near the temples, where I have located a trigger point or better a point that is always painful to the touch. I have always pain above eyebrows, sometimes is a pulsating pain, while sometimes only gravative. Moreover I have always pain in the upper part of the eye between the eyelids and the ocular cavity when I touch it and I touch it to relax the zone where I feel a lot of pain. Furthermore I have noticed that my headache increased when I change rapidly the focus or better when I tried to swith my sight from an object near me to a object far away. Accordly to my oculist I am perfectly normal.
Sometimes my headache has a different origin from the occipital nerve, where in general I have several trigger point.
One more thing I have understood is the connection between muscle of the neck and the upper back with headache due to trigger.

In my case I find very difficult to deal with headache because in general nothing work properly to improve the situation. I usually try to do some stretching and meditations and I use acupressure. Sometimes this remedy works, sometimes not

My Neuro thinks mine is coming from my neck. I have dizziness with it. I'm going to Physical therapy. Hope it helps.

Add on severe jaw pain and mine's the same. Feels like there's a vice around my head. Horrible. I do find wrapping my entire head in a large ice pack helps .

Mine are much the same, add on jaw pain and facial numbness and that's me. I use a combination of Imigran, dispersable aspirin in full fat coca cola and peppermint oil. Hope your doing better. Love Hayley 🌈
