48 years old but been suffering from fibromyalgia for about six years and now I have severe osteoporosis in my joints. Need a replacement but they are worried because they consider me too young. Wish I felt young
41, female suffering from peripheral neuropathy due to Beriberi, came down with it in 2011. Hospitalized 10 months. Now chronic in feet. Also, abdominal wall neuroma with intercostal neuropathy, had for 16 years. Has taken away my whole adulthood. 😢
35 illness started when I was 29 and I am newish on here too. I've not really stuck to these chat rooms before as I like to stay positive and find they can be really draining. This is the longest I have lasted on one as it's more about sharing what works for people which is more positive. So welcome and I hope you find it useful x
33 here 😊 been dealing with fibromyalgia since I was about 27 tho my fibrofog makes it hard to remember exactly how long I've had it, just happy I remember to dress before leaving for work in the morning 😉😜
I am 56 going on 90 or at least I feel that way. I have had chonic pain for at least 15 years but the last two years has reduced me to a little old man. I was a really tough guy, but some days I feel like a pool aching jelly, totally emasculating. My bad days out way my good days. I have not given up yet, but I feel it is close.
These posts are amazing and so are all of you. So much strength and determination humbles me greatly. I've spent most my life egnoring the plight of others telling others to suck it up and move on. In 2014 my wife complained of back pain which turned into degenerative disks that turned into surgery. I pushed her throughout the ordeal to suck it up and provided little mercy. In 2016 I broke my back from underlying osteogenesis imperfecta type 1. My whole life changed and my eyes opened wide to the world of pain. By God's mercy my wife had been by my side. I've fallen in love with her all over and now we take each day by day protecting each other. My sincere respect to all of you who has suffered more and for longer then I. I learn a lot from your posts and support.
