How to live a balanced lifestyle with chronic pain?

Im currently in chronic back & leg pain & have been since 2014. Im only still learning about what i can and can’t do and what helps & what doesn’t. Im generally looking for tips/ advice on how to deal with the pain whilst still trying to live a “normal” life with my family.

Do not over do it! Know your limits. Be kind to yourself. I do pilates almost daily but for only 10 to 15 minutes. Use a crock pot and freeze extra meals in mason jars for the really bad days. Do not be ashamed to ask for help. I often employ my sister in law for chores around the house when I need more help. Also just having someone here helping me gets me moving more too.

That is excellent advice. Don’t be afraid to say no to people and activities either, sounds awful but you’re not well and that’s ok. You will find your own rhythm eventually, good luck!
