The app had already and is. Currently been updated and upgraded a good bit. Daniel the creator of the app has done wonderful things to help us communicate better with each h other as well as helping us store and track our pains. There is a thread already established in regards to all the improvement. What type of thing so u feel the app needs to make it better for u.
@Pugger thanks a lot for creating this discussion thread. I am always very eager to hear how we can further improve the Pain Companion app. I'm also interested in hearing what other apps do better than ours. No shame in catching up ;-)
@newfibrogirl thank you so much :-D
@figgyflea Can you please explain this in more detail? Would you like to have an average for your whole tracking period or just a specific part of the tracking period which you could chose?
@Joyce77 What emotions besides the existing happiness values would you like to have in the chart?
@shadowfx78 That's gonna be in the next update :-D
Another thing we are working on is private messaging for groups and posting images in private messages... stay tuned and keep the feedback coming ;-)
Idk how feesable this is, but I have a patientslikeme.com account and they will be coming out with an app soon, it would be ideal, for me at least, if we could connect our other medical apps thru google or something like that (I'm not good with computers and the internet and stuff but that's my idea.)
It would be nice to have a place on the pain chart to list triggers that increase our pain. Often my pain doctor will ask me what may be causing the spikes in pain. If there was a way to chart what those triggers are it would be great.
Also on the migraine app I use it has a place to put what you did or what medications you took for the migraine and a separate page to list what helped. If you are trying out new medications or alternative treatments being able to chart what you tried and then If it helped or not might come in handy.
I have troubles with memory so when Dr. Q asks if the medication is helping often I draw a blank but if I had a way to chart pain before and after that would help. But not sure if it's readable with this app. I try to remember to put that info in the comment section but haven't figured out if there is a way to go back after a few hours or more to edit the comments to note if treatment worked or not.
Not sure if this has been discussed or if I missed it but I am wondering if when updates are added and being tweaked if maybe you could make a post a day or two before so that if we come on and the site is down we will know. Or is there a specific person/e-mail we can contact should we not be able to get into the app.?
Not sure if its just me but when I'm typing stuff in if it's a longer post i wont really see what I'm typing by about the third row because the keypad is in the way, so i have now idea right now if I'm making a typo
