I just want to say I'm not used to this oppressive humidity and heat living in SoCal. Hats off to you wonderful folks who live in this daily. Any coping tips?

Less dressed; sleeveless, low necklines, shorts, skirts skortsor dresses hair off the face; cool cloths or chilled socks (filled w rice) around the neck, hand fans, lots of cool water to drink, etc.

Put some fresh spearmint leaves in a squirt bottle, fill it with water. Spray on your body. It's a refreshing mist. Avoid your eyes though.

I chopped off most of my hair because of the humidity and heat during the summer!

All of the above, there isn't enough clothes you can pull bm off. One summer we all got in the shower with cold water and our clothes on soaked our selves. It helped for a little while. There's really nothing that helps you just have to suffer through it, hoping it will ease up soon. We have been having 90% humidity here in East Texas.
