On Friday I was admitted to the ER with hypotension. I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I started researching during the hours I waited and found it was a common sign/symptom of fibro. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what has your doctor done? Also I have this wierd Numbness pressure in the back of my head. I don't have an appointment in neurology until the end of the month. Everyone has just been telling me it is anxiety, but I have taken ativan and it doesn't go away. Any thoughts?

Believe In Brandi Hi !I have Hypertension, Syringomyelia, Fibro, and Osteoarthritis,as well as herniated disk. I think that you may need to see if you can see your Neuro sooner than that if you are experiencing numbness in the back of your head. Call and tell them the problems you are having and could they work you in sooner. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

BelieveInBrandi, hello. I have fibromyalgia and many other issues. I've only had one episode of hypotension and I passed out on the doctor. I had a bad upper respiratory infection & the meds caused the hypotension, but since then my bp stays low.

I have had tingling in my head(side, back, scalp) since I fell and hit my head on a concrete floor. They diagnosed trigeminal neuralgia but it actually comes on before I get headaches.
