And I did it all by myself! I hung the wall mount and the tv in the mount and the shelf all by myself. Stupid of me, I know, the instructions say 2 people. Luckily it's a 32 inch tv, any bigger and i couldn't have handled it. So now my workout room is complete and i won't have to rearrange furniture to do a yoga video. I purchased the tv and shelf December 26. I also hung the towel holders and toilet paper holder in the bathroom. We've only lived there for 1.5 years, had the parts since October and I only just got around to putting them up. And no I didn't have a good day in which I decided to do this. I just got overly frustrated with nothing getting done and the boyfriend saying he wasn't well enough to help me every time i asked for help, or input on where things should go.
I found the stud that was in the middle-ish of the wall i wanted it on (single stud mount) and then mounted it as close to eye level as i could. Getting it level was hard with only one person. It's a full movement mount so it can be turned to face each corner of the room. It's high enough that you aren't looking down on the elliptical, and low enough that you aren't cramping your neck to see it from the floor. Also great height for standing exercises. Someone taller than me might think it's too low. I did rearrange my whole workout room a few times while deciding what wall i wanted the tv on.
I'm very much paying for getting things off the to do list. My right side always hurts more than it should and with the weather not being able to decide what it wants to do my right hip has been aching for weeks. I'm guessing there is some inflammation and muscle problems going on. After going up and down the 3 step stool and standing on my toes so i can reach my right calf has decided to freak out completely. At least I'm hoping that's what caused it, and that the hip is making it worse. It's been 2 days and i can't sit or lay down without the whole right leg burning. Waking doesn't bother it, I can tell the calf is tight with every step but the pain isn't nearly as bad. Hopefully it works itself out soon. But things got done, so I'm trying to focus on that and not the pain.
