I can not believe that I can't drink... agian

Jul 07, 2016 7:57 PM

Every so often, I develop severe allergies to something, this time it was being sick, and end upn getting such crazy spasms in either my throttle chest that I can't eat of drink. We don't have a actual treatment plan, because all the old ones worked for a little, and then failed, so its pretty much go to the er and they throw everything on me. If that doesn't work, they admit me.its so awful, the dehydration, the unstable votals, the not being able to do anything..
Right now I can still eat as long as its tiny amounts at a time, but I can't drink at all. I can't do this again. I just can't.
Support and hugs,please.

Thanks! The worst part is that I can't go to the Er for fluid because they think it's all in my head and they almost shipped me off to a eating disorder clinic! My Dr is finally back, going tomorrow and hope steroids will work

So I went to the doctor and he said I have systematic thungal thrush (so comforting, I know. He said that explains my crazy symptoms. Today I went off steroids under his advice, and I can finally eat and drink again! But because of my thrush, it hurts so bad to eat or drink, so I can still only eat small, soft things. It really hurts. Its like I got my tonsils out all over again!

Omg, I understand that so very much! It seems every time my thrush clears up it returns within 2 weeks. It affects my eating, swallowing, and talking.

So, if you're following the story, the thrush medicine I was given was giving me allergic reactions from the begging~but recently I started having chest pain and coughing fits. My regular emergency meds were not enough,so I had to use more meds.
Now were stuck again ~I need thrush meds, my doctor is not answering so I don't know whether to take the med or not, and I'm having these awful reactions.sometimes it feels like an endless cycle
