I dont even know?

I dont know what is wrong with my body, and i want to be well informed before i go to a doctor.

My shoes, as past doctors have tried to blame them, actually have a decent arch, and I have had this pain since i was in high school, through many shoes, none affecting the pain.

I have very bad back pain, often my joints roll out of place, and my joints often ache. I have bone degeneration behind my right knee, but no diagnoses for arthritis of any sort. The pain in my joints primarily effects my shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. I am constantly twisting my ankle/spraining/im unsure. It just flops sometimes when i try to walk on it. Any kind of mobility hurts. My neck is always tight ans aching. My ribs seem to float, and often feel very out of place, causing me great pain and difficutly breathing.

Standing for any period of time i am in pain. Most days, sitting even causes me extreme pain. I am always tired, physically exhausted, and i seem to tire quickly doing anything physical.

I get the sensation of pins and needles through my legs and arms frequently. Numbness sometimes, as well, but usually pins and needles.

I really dont know what else to list, but i am certain if asked i could supply an answer.

If anyone has a similar experience, and a diagnoses, please help me out here. I dont know if ill be able to keep my job at this rate, as completing any of the tasks is incredibly difficult.

Have you ever been diagnosed with fibromyalgia? I know my sister has pain in her feet and she was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. The numbness and tingling could be from pinched nerves. Maybe an MRI would help to show that. Exhaustion and pain are classic symptoms of Fibro but I would check with your doctor. I hope you can find the help you need. Prayers to you. 🙏

Frustrated, I havent been back to my GP since he tried to tell me i was in pain because i had birthing hips, to be honest. I am searching currently for a new GP, and i will certainly bring up Fibro! Thank you for your help.

Good. Keep searching and asking the docs questions. A rheumatologist is the one that diagnoses arthritis, Fibro etc. many of us have had to go through many docs before we could find one that would listen to us. Don't let them tell you it's all in your head. You know exactly what you feel and how it feels.

ask about EDS. it's a connective tissue problem that affects joints. I'm having a lot of the same issues and were currently looking at EDS as a possible diagnosis.

fragilejoints, i will add that to my list! Is there anything i need to tell the doctor to get them to look at that specifically?

One of the key things is having hyper mobile joints, ask them to test the Brighton score.

I will, thank you! Can i go to a GP for this, or must it be a specialist (if so, what kind?)

I'm just discussing it with my GP as of now. I'm not totally certain where this will end up going.
