Hi bunky75. I have similar ailments minus the migraines (thankfully!) My best advice is to find a good pain dr. You may have to try more than one. I was lucky on my second dr. He listens to me, believes me and has a large 'arsenal' of things/meds to try. He is willing to think outside the box. He recommended I try a TENS unit which can be very effective for some body parts in me. I had previously seen a gp, several rheumatologist and a couple of neurologist and the pain specialist is the one who has helped me the most. I also use ice, heat, kinesiology tape, tens unit, massage therapy as well to control the pain along with daily meds. I wish you a low pain day and much luck in finding a good doc!
Bunky75, I have the same issues and then some. The best relief was from a pain specialist & TENS unit. I have many severe med allergies so I can't use a lot of meds others do. I have a large pain tolerance because of it. I had to teach myself to recognize signs & symptoms of pain, and relaxation methods (shower, massage, heat, ice, music, reading, etc) to detour my thoughts from focusing on the pain.
