Yesterday was so weird that I thought I was hallucinating. But I have been having trouble with my eyes. It was after I woke up. I had gotten two hours sleep and I had just woke up. But my eyes were seeing things double. And I was seeing likes in different colors. But besides pain. All I did was feel tired. My head didn't feel weird. I didn't feel euphoric. It was just my eyes. Then I thought I was o.k I had to drive ten mile to a friends house and a minute into the drive, I started seeing double cars. It was almost hard to know which one was which. So I just stay the furthest away from the one that was closest to me. I almost went off the side of the road. But I woke up today and all is well. Funny things going on with my eyes I just developed a annoying floater that stays at the center of my eye. But eye doctor said it was fine.
Well that is scarey to say the least. Can you test your blood sugar and blood pressure ? Did you start any new medication or have any major diet changes? I will be thinking about you my friend. Take it easy and tell your body to stop doing wierd shit.
Profiler, if it happens again, please get a second opinion. My eyes are doing some really scary shit to me and I hate to see anybody else go through this. Have increased pressure in my head for some reason which caused both optic nerves to swell.
Profiler, if it happens again get med attention immediately. My hubby had a vascular stroke go to his eye and nearly lost his sight. He can no longer see true colors with that eye. Praying for you, that it doesn't happen again! Hugs. 🙂💕🙏🌼
I can get a glucose test kit next month. I can't afford one this month. I have a blood pressure kit and my blood pressure is usually fine. But I didn't check it that day. I was real tired and didn't think about it.
I have had problems with my eyes over the past three years. It was freaking me out, horrific pain/pressure, sight changes can change within an hour. I have gotten 5 different prescription changes in this time. Saw eye specialist and ct scan are not showing any physical problems. I am being told for my situation that it could be nerve damage or fibro related. For me ongoing follow up is needed, such as neurology, pain specialist, rheumatology. Initial and ongoing checks I think are important in my situation to get done sooner instead of later because of permanent damage or the things others mention previous to my note. If you know someone(diabetic) with a blood sugar meter acucheck you could ask them to take your blood sugar level. It's good that you could check your blood pressure for next time. I was told floaters are always there it's that at times I notice them. I was told if I loose my sight or a few other things happen then that is a medical emergency and I need to go to the emergency. I have never had colour changes. Your situation is very worthy of follow up with your doctor. Everybody's situation can be different. I wish you well. Beets.
