I just want to sleep like a normal person.

I'm on so many y pills just to sleep and now it seems to nkt be working. OTC are not doing anything especially since lupron shot. I'm whipped out but can rest. And having full body spasms. And seem as if I have the shakes like a seizure. I've told people close toe and we gonna keep watch on it before we decide to or not to the ER. I just want rest.

I am with you! Sleep eludes me almost every night. I am so tired and bitchy.

Newfibrogirl, can you take something like Trazadone to help you sleep? It's not an addictive sleeping pill, it's actually an antidepressant. I take it with Xanax or Ativan. Or start with benadryl. What meds are you on to sleep? Maybe I can help?

I have ambian, nortyphidone and sometimes I take Tylenol PM which I took all of these last night

Newfibrogirl Benedryl is a good choice since it does make you drowsy. I have taken 2 Benedryl with 2 Advil pm and it helps me drift out but doesn't keep me asleep. It's hard when you're exhausted and you can't sleep. It makes everything all the harder to deal with. I wish there was something other than having a nice cup of chamomile tea at night and staying away from the phone screen because something in the light of the phone signals your awake brain to stay awake making it harder to go to sleep. I hope you get some rest soon. {{{Hugs}}}💕🙏🏻🌻😊

Newfibrogirl, The PCP had to keep increasing the dose on my Ambien. It is addictive and dependent forming. If you can get on something else you'll notice better sleep. It took me 6 months for my body to adjust and sleep better. My psych doc helped me off the Ambien by increasing my antidepressant & folate (affects serotonin) and adding melatonin. I still wakeful nights, but when I do sleep it's a much deeper sleep than any Ambien night. Hugs love & prayers! 🙂💕🙏🌸

Hi, my dr. Just put me on Traza done and TizaNadine, which knocks me out, but I don't sleep for more than 4 hours.

Newty, that worked for me for awhile.

Newty, tizandadine is the generic of Zanaflex (a muscle relaxant). It knocks me stupid. I can take 200mg of Morhine and you'd never know. I take 8mg of Zanaflex and I'm a drooling idiot.. LOL!! But you're correct, it's short acting. You'll never get a real restful sleep even with meds. Drugged sleep doesn't refresh the body like regular sleep. I wish I could get more than 2.5-3 hours a night. 😴💤
