My hubby wanted to go look at trucks last Saturday, to see if I could suit in one comfortably. We also wanted to try SUV's & Vans. We didn't plan on buying one but we're surprised to find one we really liked and could afford. It's a 2013 Toyota Tacoma dual cab short bed pick up. The band and SUV's and new trucks sit too high off the ground for me to get in and out. I can slide right in & out with no strain, stretching, or squatting. Wow, at the difference having a comfortable vehicle is on my body riding!
Aliya, trucks are expensive for sure, but my doctor recommended one because of having so many blind spots in modern cars. Sometimes I wish I still had our old LTD or Olds '88; you can see great out of those babies! Lol We will definitely be tight financially, but hopefully it will be worth it. I can absolutely see better in it. My brother still has his '99 Tacoma. And our car & truck will likely be the last purchase for me; the car is an '09 but only has 40K miles on it because I haven't driven much. It's full of blind spots but my hubby can turn his neck and trunk to see, unlike me. The way my hands tremble and arms give out driving, any length over 20-30 minutes, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be driving. I'm praying no wrecks and a long life for the truck and car. Hugs love and prayers the Lord blesses you with one if and when you need it! 🙂💕🙏🌸
