What can I drink for dehydration other than water?

I know that diluting juice can sometimes make you a little dehydrated but I drink bucket loads, I can't drink tap water as it gives me chronic indigestion. I buy Robinsons sugar free real fruits apple and blackcurrent. You could also try cold green tea, I can't stand it hot but I put one tea bag in water, with a few slices of lemon and some mint, hung some ice in as well and pop I the fridge for a bit. It's lovely and refreshing, I tend to make a batch before I go to bed so it's nice and steeped in the morning. Cucumber and lemon is also very nice, same again, slice both into a jug, fill with water and ice and pop in the fridge overnight. HTH a little xx

I use gatorade that has the electrolytes in it. But if you go on the net, you can find your own recipe for it. I believe it just has has a combination of sugar and salt and some flavoring. But if you don't like water, which I am not a fan of, I have been going to the store and getting those water flavorings. I think they are the best. I like some of the walmart ones. My favorite is the sports blue one. It has the electrolytes in them as well. They have a sweetness to them. There are some brand name ones too. The one that I like the most is Mio but there are a couple of Walmart types that are just as good. I like a lot of the mio brands the most though. There is a huge selection. What I like about them is that you can get them for different reasons. You can get them for dehydration or you can get them for energy which come with vitamins mostly the b's. I hope you try them and enjoy them. I love them and they got me to enjoy water and loose weight.

Boxerguy101, I was diagnosed with Sjogrens this year along with hypothyroidism. I've had other issues for years, so my meds list grew even longer. Sjogrens series out my eyes, nose, & throat drastically on it's own. But combined with the med dryness it's pretty bad. Sometimes my throat gets so dry I can't talk or swallow until I take a drink of liquid. My GI doc said I needed to take in 110+ ounces of water each day, on top of any coffee, tea or other drinks. She suggested I drink 8oz of Gatorade or Powerade each day. And as Profiler said, there are recipes online to replace the electrolytes our bodies are depleted from by the meds. I like green teas flavored also, and cold. I use Biotene oral products rather than traditional toothpaste and rinse. Avoid any mouthwash with alcohol as it will cause worse drying. Good luck finding what works for you. 🙏🌼
