patJob, Have you talked to your doctor about it? I was given cymbalta, which for six months worked well. But then I began having very negative side effects, including increased pain. My med was changed. Maybe this med isn't the right one for you. Talk with your doctor before throwing it out. Finding the right meds and method of coping with chronic pain takes time. It's possible you could go more of a natural homeopathic route. Hugs& prayers you find what works best for you! 🙂💕🙏🌼

PatJob, I am so truly sorry you have RA. My mother suffered with it until she died. She lived until age 83, so it killed her after a long life span. It changed her forever. I recall all the medications she took including the very latest medicines, wax bathes for her hands, cold packs & hot pads, gold shots. Twice a week after work my Dad would drive 2 1/2 hours taking her to a reputable masseur, wait 90 minutes for her massage and then drive home to be ready again for work. It took a long road of trying different medications & procedures to manage her pain. That is where you are now. You will find something that will help you in time. If the pills you are taking are making you sick, you might want to call your doc & let him/her know. I hope you have the help you need if your RA is active right now. Good luck.
My grandmother and mother both had it, but they only used aspirin. They died at ages 77 & 65 (mom), but from heart/lung related issues. My oldest sister has it and is in some type of test trial, not knowing if she received the meds or placebo. She finds out today and starts the new med. I'm not sure what it is, but I'll try to find out. Hugs & prayers you will find what works for you! 🙂💕🙏🌼
