Icecap, anyone?

May 14, 2016 12:21 AM

Hi to all....does anyone here have an Icekap for use with headache or migraine. I just saw this on a FB ad. It talks about using it in tandem with peppermint essential oil or whatever oil gives any releif. Made me think of all here who suffer so with Migraine.

I don't have one made in the former of a cap, but I do have several different shapes of magic bags that I use to cover my whole scalp. Yes, they work. The peppermint oil also helps too. I use both all the time. Highly recommended.

I would try it for sure. An ice pack does wonders on my head to soothe a migraine. I use the gel kind so they are soft and flexible

Hi! I recently purchased the icekap, I also saw it on fb, and highly recommend it for severe migraines. I hesitated for about a month due to the cost, but finally broke down and got it. The "icekap essential oil" that came with it is awesome too, it's the peppermint & lavender oils in a coconut oil base. I never would of thought something like that would work but it does. You just put some on temples and back of neck if needed (I've had 2 neck fusions for ruptured discs & osteoarthritis set in too, that's why I have the daily migraines). I don't use it with the cap tho, I use it when I'm out of the house. As soon as I put the cap on I told my daughter "this lady really is a migraine sufferer who invented this." It has the squishy gel packs from the front of forehead all the way to back of neck, and u can use all of them at once or only the ones u need. It fits as tight as u want, for me pressure feels good. Before the cap I would push on both temples as hard as I could for relief, but wanted ice too....this does both simultaneously. I highly recommend it and am happy to answer any other questions u might have about it. Stay strong and God bless!
