I'm responding to Shore's post (in another post)

Aug 26, 2019 1:33 PM

Shore, in someone else's post you questioned if you were posting too much & why others weren't responding. I didn't want to respond in the other person's conversation thread because when threads get long sometimes the original posters's concern is lost in the shuffle. So I started this thread to answer you.

Mind you, I'm answering only for myself because I don't know what others feel or think. I typically only respond to new issues or posts. But I will respond if someone new posts conversation (convo), or if some new problem is stated in an old convo thread, or if someone makes a comment directly to me. If something is being discussed and I have something to contribute I think will help I will post.

I don't worry about others responding to posts I make unless I'm asking for specific help, suggestions or support. Sometimes I like to post things just to say hello and wish everyone a good day, maybe provide a laugh, but I don't expect others to respond. And sometimes I'm away for days (& every months in the past), and there's just no way to respond to everyone's post. That's just how I am, but I can't answer for others. Please don't take it personally if I don't respond every time. Hugs love & prayers you have a good day!πŸ™‚β€πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Thanks FlappysLady81 for starting new thread. I didn't want to respond in another's thread. I don't respond to every convo if I don't think I have anything new to contribute. I'm an introvert so not a great conversationist.

@ AnimalLover2, lol me too.

@Shore, we all have days like that. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's boyfriend. At times like this, her just knowing you are there, you're thinking about her, praying for them, sending a card or email etc. Just knowing you are willing to help any way you can would mean a lot to her. Hugs love & prayers for her to have strength & comfort getting through this! πŸ™‚β€πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Shore, sorry to hear about your friends boyfriend, having just lost my father, the best thing you can do is just be their for for your for friend, call her and check on her and listen to her and just be there for her, I can’t tell you how a well placed timed phone call of my friend calling to check on me or my sister calling me to see how I was since I got back home made a world of difference. It will surely be what will seem like a life line to your friend. Prayers going out to you and your friend and her boyfriends family πŸ™β€οΈ

Thanks Painwarrior! Thankfully we live in the exact middle of central GA, so we aren't concerned about here. Zetarlov lives about halfway between me and the Savannah coast, and if it comes on Shore that area could see wind & tornado damage. GA will be inundated with evacuees as far inland as Atlanta most likely, like when Irma & Michael came our way. However there are many family members of my Stepmom's who live near coasts from GA to NC, and one of our granddaughters live on GA coast at St Mary's. I've been praying Dorian takes the furthest route East, and loses power to nothing. It breaks my heart seeing the devastation of the Bahamas!

Hey Shore, I saw on another post about your headache, but I don't like to get off topic of the original person's actual post, so I thought I'd respond here. I'm sorry you were awake most of the night with a headache! Do you suffer migraines? I do, but I also get some call cervicogenic headaches that have to do with my cervical-thoracic spine issues, and they will crawl up my spine , over my scalp & into my forehead. I had to actually get a nerve block recently for them. I'm glad you're headache eased up. We had a quiet Labor Day, which is good. I moved wrong yesterday and did something to my left knee cap, so I'm having to reschedule my PT on my left hip today; no way I'm about to do that to my knee! I hope your headache stays away and you have a good week! Hugs love & prayers πŸ™‚β€πŸ™πŸŒΌ
