I'm sorry to whine...

Jul 22, 2015 11:34 AM

I'm out of my mind in pain. How do you deal in that humidity all the time. I suppose you adapt. The humidity makes my fibromyalgia nutso. I can actually feel the barometer changing in my body. I'm exhausted. I need a laugh or a pick me up or something. My depression is trying to grasp me deeper. I go to work, keep up minimally with the house, and sleeeeeeeeeep. A lot. I'm sad...

Many, many gentle (((hugs))). I can't handle humidity either! Sending you cooling breezes...but not too cold.

I don't know where you to be suffering humidity. I'm thankful that it's rare to get high humidity just here. The blessing of living near the coast. But I agree it is suffocating trying to do anything in it.
It's hard to offer the right words in this form, it's somewhat dispassionate. Try to be as kind to yourself as you would be to a friend or family member whose feeling down. That's a tough one. We rarely treat ourselves as well as we do others, when we need to take care of no.1.
Super soft hugs and do something nice for you.☺️

I live in Southern California in Ventura which is 25 miles to Santa Barbara. It's not normally humid.

I feel your pain. It's hot and humid in GA too. Try a cooling cloth around your neck, not cold though. Dress in light weight clothing. I'm not a fan of dresses except in summer because they are cooler to wear. As for the fibro pain, I take extra Tylenol Arthritis at times like this. And the fatigue is off the chain, ever since we got back from Mayo. I've fought off a nap all day and yawned my head off. I've been sleeping more than normal all week. Take short naps if you can. Even 15-30 minutes is helpful. ((Hugs)) and prayers your flare will send soon. 🙏🌼
