I am a new member and while I am a longtime pain sufferer, today was my first time scrolling through a page that contains drawings of so many others sharing some variation of the pain I experience on a constant basis. It made me feel a great deal of emotions but I can’t help but wonder why there are so many of us who seem to not be able to find an answer. What else can we do to get our pain and symptoms to be better understood? I’m happy to not feel alone with the pain anymore and I’m also feeling a little less hope for finding a solution knowing there are so many others without proper diagnoses and treatment.
Welcome to the community Amos! A GP I work for has always said chronic pain syndromes are some of the most misunderstood conditions there are. I have to agree. Have you been given a diagnosis of what is causing your pain?
Welcome Amos. It is eye opening to read how many of us there are here. I've been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, fibromyalgia syndrome with many ongoing side issues that go along with chronic pain. I have found that CBD oil has helped a lot more than opoids from the docs. I struggle each day but seem to find a way to get through it wouldn't always call it living sometimes it's just existing.
