Injections have worn off

Jul 14, 2016 12:33 AM

I had a few weeks of much reduced pain which was awesome. The cortisone has worn off and I'm back to where I started. I was considering reducing pain Meds but that is not going to happen now. What a shit pain can be. Hopes up and dashed again.

Dipbop, did you have steroid injx? Mine were always done in a series of 3, every 6-8 weeks, on my spine. I had to go back in early for a second one because it worse off too soon. Give your doc a call. Hugs love & prayers they can do something to help! 🙂💕🙏🌸

Dipbop, the time to reduce your medications would have been while you were feeling better. Perhaps you need another injection and then you'll get some relief and then you can wean down some off your meds. Please don't let your hopes be dashed. There's always hope. Hang in there. {{{Hugs}}} 💕🙏🏻🌻😊

Hi there. I myself went through the steroid injections in a series of three every two weeks. My pain clinic won't do them again before 8 weeks after the last injection. So in between I just have nerve blocks done. There is no steroid in it, so you can do them as often as needed. Hope you get some relief ☺
