Insomnia and sleep study and pain

Dec 15, 2015 2:38 AM

So this past week has been horrid and glad it's over. My mom is doing well medically but emotionally not so good. Having a hard time learning how to nkt do everything.
As for me I had a doctors appointment withy new primary and he is great very through. He is sending me a sleep study. I have been trying to avoid those I hate the sleep studies. But I'll do it. Lol sadly I'll do it because it gets me out the house for a night and away from this craziness.. Lol
Tonight I'm in so much pain my back hips pretty much whole lower half plus cramps.. I've been doing so much the last few weeks. I even did the grocery shopping alone including lifting the cases of water.
I just want three days of nothingness.. I just want quite
I hate the waiting involved with doctors. And meds adjusting. I just want to be fixed.
I'm so tired.so very tired..

I know what you mean about 3days of nothingness. That would be so nice. Hopefully in your sleep study they can find some answers to help you. I'm 3 weeks away from seeing a neurologist, 6 weeks away from rheumatologist. Good luck to you and your mom.

Thanks you rickysbaby... I'm hopeful bfor positive answers. I'm believing for good results for u also. Once I got to a rheumatologist I started getting more positive results as far as reliving my pain. I've only had one visit but we covers a lot. Wishing u all the best.

Newfibrogirl, I am glad to hear that your Mom is doing better. As long as the physical is improved her mental will as well. She will adjust to not being able to do all things in one day.
I'm really happy that the new doctor is good and that he is so thorough. When is your sleep study scheduled? (I went for mine once and they couldn't complete it because with all the shit they stick to you and all the wires, I really couldn't sleep!!). I hope that when you go that you get a good night's sleep and that at least you'll be comfy because the beds they have are to die for!!
I sure do understand you wanting to have a few days of nothingness. It would really be a welcome respite. I feel for you with the cramps because I'm menopausal and went 6 months with no cycle and just got the one from hell!! The cramps, the clots, the fatigue.. (Sorry guys.. Just a simple fact of life). It's such a busy time of year, it seems if we don't push ourselves and do all the shopping, etc, we'll not get everything we need to do done. Pace yourself, one way or another, you'll get it all done. Be kind to yourself. Remember, if you run yourself down and flare up, you won't be good to anyone. (You'll also feel worse yourself).
The waiting with doctors is a pain in the ass.. Waiting for appointments, To see if med changes work, etc. I wish you were fixed as well. I wish that we all were. Hang in there.. You're pain family is standing by your side and I'm just a keystroke away if you need me. Sending you love, {{Hugs}} and prayers for a peaceful and less painful day💕🙏🏻🌻
