Insurance running out

Aug 11, 2016 11:13 AM

My insurance is running out at the end of this month so I'm getting prescriptions filled one last time. I need to know which medication for fibromyalgia is less expensive without insurance if any of you know. Because if I'm going to have to be getting refills out of pocket I'd rather go with the cheapest one. Gabapentin? Lyrica? Or Savella?

There is an RX card--not health insurance, but for prescriptions, for drugs your insurance doesn't cover. I will put the website on here when it gets light LOL!!! Hubby is still sleeping 😉 he's so cute!! (and loud!!! 🙉LOL!!!)

The only one that is available as a generic is gabapentin. Download the Good RX app. It will give you local prices from your area. Also you can use the pharmacy at Sam's Club and you do not have to be a club member. Many times they are cheaper. Just start calling and getting prices. Good luck. I have not had insurance in 3 years, it sucks.
