Integrate with exercise apps

Feb 28, 2015 6:14 PM

I wondered if there had been thoughts about integrating with exercise apps like Google fit, Endomondo etc? It might be useful to help people track activity v pain levels?

That's a good idea. I use a Fitbit device just to prove to my doctors I'm not a couch potato...lol

Great idea, I'm currently looking into finding one of those Fitbit things that I like so I can track the same things.

Yes it just occurred to me that there isn't any way to link up pain with exercise, might be a useful feature!

I use a Fitbit but like many of these gadgets it's good only when you do a minimum number of steps at a minimum speed so may not monitor housework etc unless you can keep moving. They have a new gadget out which goes on your wrist and also monitors heart rate. I'm trying to work out a way to justify buying it so soon after my little clip-on gadget.

I have some spare pedometers - all electronic if you want to try out monitoring your activities. You need to collect from Guildford area in UK.

Rennschnecke, I downloaded the Fitbit app via Google play. The small device I use was the original, but I can't remember the name. Anyway, I can add my household chores, driving, even grooming. I also track my food intake & water. I love the Fitbit app. I don't know if there are others. I couldn't afford the wristband, but there's one that also tracks your sleep I think. Mine only cost $40 on Amazon.

I love my fit bit. Coming up on my first anniversary of wearing it. I love being able to track my sleep. Helps me SHOW a visual to a doctor who asks how I sleep. I really want the one with heart rate monitor but can't afford that right now.
