Is it legal there?

Nov 27, 2016 9:32 AM

With the election just past Florida has passed medical marijuana. It could be 9 months before its actually regulated and available, but I'm thrilled to know its passed and will be available soon. I am not a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist, but I know I'm not the only one over the moon to know patients like myself will soon be able to tell big pharma to suck donkey balls when it comes to finding relief. I'm curiois...how many of us live in states where its legal? Do you use it? How do you use it? Smoke, tea, edibles?

My other big question is is it a viable option cost wise for patients on a budget?

I'm in Northern Alberta Canada. It's legal. I had my license for a time. I've heard that it helps many. I didn't find it helped me much at the time. Having said that I did take full prescribed doses. I was too scared. It gave me dry mouth, the munchies, smelled and tasted bad. I mostly vaped according to docs ordered but I also tried every other option as well. There are many different strains. Sativa, Indica, high and low thc(thc is what gives you the high.) Lots of options. It's very costly. Also the pharmaciducal companies already have their hands in it. They make synthetic pill forms. They will eventually be the ones dispensing it to patients. If you just buy it from anyone. You don't really know what you're getting in it. It can be dangerous. The sativa strains can cause seizures for those with Epilepsy like myself.

Ohio passed it into law. But they said it would take 2 years before it is available.
