It won't go away

May 19, 2016 11:47 PM

Ok so I hurt my foot about 3 1/2 months ago. We have been trying different crps treatments and it hasn't been working. My mom says she will take me to the er on June 1st if it still hurts. My mom had me miss school Tuesday and Wednesday because it still hurts none of my meds are working and I know it is hard on her to see me this way. I am to the point where I just take my pain patch but it makes me upset when this one kid tease me and asks why I wear toilet paper.

I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with idiots, I wish there was more representation of us in the media, but alas, there is not, this kid sounds so ignorant, I'm sorry you have to deal with that, I wish I could tell you that they stop, or that it gets better but unfortunately, due to lack of education, most people will never understand the pain of chronic illnesses and what you'll do for relief, what kind of pain patch is it?? (If you don't mind me asking), love and spoons 💖

Horsesnuggler12, I am so sorry that you are dealing with this foot pain after all this time. It is very disheartening and frustrating I'm sure. I know how hard it was when I was in school (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth), to deal with kids that were cruel. You have to do what you have to do for YOU. Don't let them make you feel badly. Next time they say it's toilet paper, tell them that if they had to wear it, they probably wouldn't be able to function. You hang in there. You're strong and you've got a level head on your shoulders. You're also a horse person and rider and that makes you a breed apart (like me). Us horse people are tough!! We get bucked off a 1500 pound animal and dust off and get back on, right?? We're all here for you, Hon. Sending you positive vibes, sweet horsey dreams and gentle {{{Hugs}}} 💕🙏🏻🌻😊

Thx guys. For those of you that don't know what a pain patch is it is just lidocaine in a gel patch that sticks to your arm or leg

I have those! They don't take the pain away completely but they take the edge off, next time they try to pick on you, stick one over their mouth! Hahaha, I kid but honestly, like Alwayzinpain said, if they experienced your amount of pain, they probably wouldn't be functioning, you're a proper little warrior and we're all here for you, love and spoons 💖
