Itchy arches

May 24, 2015 11:35 PM

The arches of both my feet itch periodically, and not necessarily at the same time. Sometimes it's an itch, sometimes it's tingling. I looked it up and it said something about neuropathy. Has anyone ever heard of this--it's so strange...

Starrynight, I have tingling &/or itching in both feet and not necessarily the same area always. I'm actually I in both get all over right now but the right also has sharp shooting & throbbing pain on and of. There's many things that can cause it. But I was just diagnosed with Sjogrens and it can cause both central and peripheral nerve issues. There's not much to do to alleviate it, unless (sometimes) it's positional. I hope you can find the cause because it's easier to deal with (for me) knowing the "why". Have a blessed day. Hugs & prayers! 🙏🌼

I put it all to siactric nerve pain......not one pain is relevant. Some may have being caused over time.

I have the same kind of itching on either side of my spine by my shoulder blades. The itch isn't superficial, it's very deep and I have to have someone scratch pretty hard to get it to subside. However, as soon as the scratching stops, the itch comes right back. Sometimes I have to have someone scratch two, three or four times in a row to get it to stop. Sometimes I just give up and go to the kitchen door and scratch against the door jam like a bear on a tree!! (As FlappsyLady said, she's going to call be Balooh) I know how frustrating the tingling and itching can be. I hope that you find an answer and solution so you don't have to deal with it any longer.
