I can't stand being itchy. Colliodal oatmeal baths are wonderful.

I seem to have an almost constant itching in my fingers and ankles. Very frustrating especially when trying to sleep. 😕

lotion made for eczema helps me. cold cloths or ice packs wrapped in a cloth help decrease the itching.

I have plaque psoriasis and am on Enbrel which helps with the skin. I've also been using a lotion for dry skin/eczema which really helped me and some of my friends.

Good its not just me then. My arms itch like potty. I could rip my skin off. I have tried everything lotions creams tabs nothing helps when it gets really bad I scratch my arms with a piece of sandpaper and then spray jiff on it. I know it sounds extreme and it does burn like bugger but it stops the itching, perhaps because its burnt that layer of skin away. I have tried ice wraps cold cloths. I will give anything a try but getting into a bath at 2am aint an option.

Have you been to the dermatologist yet? Ask them to do a biopsy! For years I had been treated for the wrong ailment until the biopsy came back with the verdict Psoriasis.

My itchy skin drives me crazy! It's 100 times worse at night....like millions of ants crawling over me. I have scratched so much, my skin is covered in scabs and scars (not attractive!). GP and Consultants tell me not to worry about it, but I think it's a pathetic excuse not to investigate (yet another) my complaint. Not sure if it's down to my conditions (Fibromyalgia; Rheumatoid Arthritis; Osteoarthritis; Hypothyroidism; depression; dry eye syndrome), or if it's the meds (Etoricoxib; Tramadol; Naproxen; Citalopram; Autologous eye drops). Whatever it is, it's damned irritating. Chronic pain's bad enough, but itching, itching, itching is enough to drive anyone mad! However, on a more positive note, I have found coconut oil really helps - as long as I get it on quick! Smells nice too!
