CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

It's all coming back.

I was thrilled last September when I became pregnant. I was able to drop all my meds without repercussion. Through the pregnancy I was sore from being pregnant but not from fibromyalgia. We also moved shortly before that and no longer were surrounded by mold and questionable well water. So I thought maybe the fibromyalgia would be gone. But now I'm nearly 8 weeks post partum and all the pains are coming back. Super sensitive skin that hurts to breathe on, swelling in my knee, numbness in my fingers and toes, daily headaches.
Oh how I missed none of this. :/ need to get a new doctor. (Due to the move. I love my old Doctor. I've only seen an ob since.)

This pregnancy was tough. I said "never again this is my last time" but man, it's starting to sound nice to deal with 10 months of being sick and out of breath.

Yup, I understand. Not the exact same timeline or illness, but my pain came back after breastfeeding and pregnancy. I thought I had been cured although I had plenty of separate physical problems from pregnancy and delivery. So sorry to hear :(

Congratulations on your new baby! My sister in law has RA, and she said she felt much better pregnant than she did when she wasn't pregnant. It's possible it's the stress of all the hormone changes going on that's causing t the pain to flare. Try and take it easy, and rest when baby rests. Hugs love & prayers you find a g great doctor! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ

I didnt know it at the time... but i was a machine when they were all born! πŸ€”I learn after my dx... that i had benefitted 😚in this way... right up until my youngest son was almost 2😊
