It's now 3am and I'm still up

Oct 20, 2016 2:07 AM

Morning everyone.. hope those who are in my time zone are are peacefully sleeping and those who are ready to be getting up have had a restful night's sleep.
I've been up all night with the exception of 1 hour after a sleeping pill kicked in and then I woke again.
As most of you know, I'm going for my facet joint injections this morning at 9am. I know it will be fine and there's nothing to get myself worked up about (but I'm a chicken... LOL!!) I just have a bit of difficulty with the "waiting". I know once I get there I'll be ok and I know that it will go fine and that they will have me properly unconscious so I don't feel it until I wake up. (I also know that it will be worth feeling like shit for a few days to get some relief).
Just wanted to let you all know that I wish you a good day, smiles, sunshine and laughter. Look for all of these gifts through the day today and if you do and they make you smile, then I'll be happy knowing that I helped someone not to think of their pain if even for a few minutes.
Sending gentle {{{Hugs}}}, good karma, positive vibes and smiles your way.💕😊

Waiting is always the worst. Hoping that it will bring you significant relief of pain after the crappy days that follow. At least you know that it is worse before it is better. If you need a ear just PM me and maybe we can talk. Unfortunately I am up tonight too, painsomnia strikes again. I way over did it yesterday and we have a weather front coming in tomorrow. Double Whammy! You know we will all be sending you the best
{{{good vibes}}} so breath and let us know how you are doing.

I'm home... my cervical spine is such a mess. I have to go for a psych consult and then they will do a trial for a thoracic neurostimulator. I also need MAJOR cervical surgery to open up the area for my spinal cord to stop being crushed. They'll do micro neurosurgery and it will be a long one. They will get the scar tissue, the arthritis, spurs, calcifications and the old stimulator out. At the same time. Then I'll have another trial and implantation of a new neurostimulator in my cervical AND thoracic spine. The thoracic one will help with the radiopathy in my legs..🙄. So much to think about and worry about BUT if it works it will be absolutely BRILLIANT!! Headed to bed LMB.. thanks for offering an ear. {{{Hugs}}} 💕😊

Oh wow that sounds like a lot and the pain after having it all done won't be nice but once everything starts to heal and you can use the neurostilater, it sounds like it will be worth the pain.
I hope you have a peaceful uninterrupted sleep with lots of happy dreams xx

Thank you so very much Sezzy!! I had a stim for many years and had it replaced 5 times. The last time it broke I just left it there broken. At any rate, I've been put in to all of the above and it's going to come pretty quickly (which is better for me because I know what is going to happen and what the recovery is like. However if it works like it did the first time.. Holy Shit.... Fucking Billiant!!!!! 💕😊

I'll have you in my prayers that the recovery isn't too hard and that the neurostilater works better than the first time for you xx {{{HUGS}}} xx
