It's official Three out of the big Four are Flaring ( rant )

Jul 27, 2015 12:30 AM

Woke up from my migraine coma to horrendous pelvic pain and even though my periods are shut down, and have been for years, some break through spotting. Which has my endometriosis flaring, my migraines flaring, and my IC flaring at near full force.
My chronic pain specialist was supposed to get me back in touch with my chronic pelvic pain specialist but now I am going to be insisting on it in the morning.
Really wish I could go to the ER for a shot, but I do not want a late nate pelvic CT, ultrasound, pelvic and general party in my pants only to be told that I have pain maintenance medication at home and the ER is not for pain management. And yes, I get that a lot before getting bumped back out on the street with out any sort of help at all, but an extremely high exposure to radiation.
But I feel like my uterus is trying to walk out with my bladder, and my head is still not recovered from the migraine which was obviously the warning of things to come.
Tough call. Just took evening morphine and no fully medicated yet. Also have percocet on hand for breakthrough pain. I think my game plan at the moment is this. Lavender Epsom salt bath soak while morphine kicks in and boyfriend cooks me something tasty to eat as I've been comatose for hours. Eat, take check of pain levels, take percocet if needed for minor lingering pain. If still in bad pain head to ER well fed and in warm, comfy clothes for the long haul.

Couldn't eat much, too nauseous. Just feeling awful. But distant from it because I'm tired. Everything coming in waves.

It sucks when a flare stats, but then triggers the other parts of the body. I use to be okay dealing with my hand pain until I had migraines and 16 teeth coming in sideways. Then I got a full flare, and I can only describe it as floating. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this.

Wynnbliss, you mentioned your uterus running off with your bladder. Is your uterus prolapsing downward, forward, of backwards? If so that's why your pain is so intense. You need a Urogynecology specialist, and they're hard to find. ((Hugs)) because I know the pain, & prayers for relief very soon! 🙏🌼

I don't know what is happening, I don't think it's as serious as prolapse. I made an appointment to go in to ob/gyn this afternoon but I just haven't wanted to do anything except sleep and not move. My regular Dr isn't available until Friday and my chronic pelvic pain specialist is out of communication. I really don't feel like going in to see a brand new Dr. I can't really walk at this point either.

If it's affecting your walk they should be able to tell if it's prolapse. The longer it's ignored the worse it can get. My mom had a prolapsed uterus and they used pessaries until they tracked it in place. My ovaries prolapsed and they tracked them in place. I have slight referral prolapse, but as long as I avoid constipation we can avoid total prolapse and surgery. I'm praying for you, especially that it's easily treated! 🙏🌼
