Pasport, I have it and it is awful! They've given me an injection that helped about 2 months but it's increased again. The doggone injection hurt worse than the pain at first. I had surgery on my foot for a broken sesamoid bone and it took me 12-13 weeks to go back to work. If you have the neurons surgery let us know how you do. I'll keep you in my prayers. 🙏🌼

Thank you for your reply I had cortisone injections about six weeks ago then the pain got worse when I had to go back to see the specialist he said that the man who gave me the cortisone could have injected in to the nuroma I have to wait now to see the specialist in three months time he said that I can have the operation but he said that he didn't advise me to have it done so I don't now if there is any thing else that I can have .have you had any thing done for your nuroma

No I haven't. I'm not even sure if get another injection. I've noticed it I ice it and massage voltaren gel in as it first started it keeps the pain lower. It feels best to wear flip flops than tennis shoes, though my docs don't like me to. If it's hurting real bad I start of my feet. 🙏🌼

Someone mentioned they had gone to a "Run Fit Sports" where the employees watched them walk, then put them in the proper shoes. He said his feet and back have never felt better. I've paid $300 twice in for years for inserts ( insurance won't cover), so I plan to make a visit soon. I've noticed when I walk on the treadmill the toes of my left foot points outward. That can't be normal or gold for my back. If I turned both outwards, I could maybe get a role as "Penguin" maybe! 🐧Lol 🙏🌼

LOL, Flappsy!!! Penguin!! You are absolutely priceless. I have to ask, since you noticed your left foot pointing out, have you consciously tried to correct it and see if you felt a difference? Would be interesting to find out. 💕🙏🏻🌻

Actually I did. It felt weird and off balance. I couldn't maintain it either. 🙏🌼

Flappsy, I was hoping for a good result. I'm sorry that it didn't work. I have to say, you are such a breath of fresh air and sunshine for me.(and I'm sure many others). Your compassion, faith and humor all smooth me when I'm feeling down. I hope you have a blessed day. 💕🙏🏻🌻

I have had mortons neuroma, I have had the operation on both feet. It did help but even after surgery they can grow back. I still had to have insoles made for my shoes. One thing the podiatrist recommended is wearing Dr Marten boots as they have good soles. I now have lovely purple ones and I'm going to get more but I can't decide between flowery ones or red ones.
