I've been finding I've been having a lot of issues with my joints. Multiple times a day, my wrists and ankles will start killing, like a shooting stabbing feeling. I have to crack them or roll them to reduce the pain. Also, my shoulders and hips have been popping in and out and cracking frequently. My hip makes a pop sound every time I move. Sometimes it's painful and sometimes it's just really annoying. Does anyone have this or a similar issue and if so, what causes this. I have a doctor appointment in August and I definitely want to bring this up
Chronic G I don't have the popping but for the last 2-3 months I have been having a lot of problems with my rt shoulder it starts from my neck and runs all the way to the very top of my shoulders down on the inside to the muscle then down to my elbow hand and fingers. Just hurting really bad. My hands go numb fingers tingle. Lower back on rt side my hip down to my thigh the pain is on the outside of my thigh down to ankel.
ChronicG, my OrthoVisc doc said the popping and cracking is usually either the joints or ligaments/tendons moving o over the bones making the sounds. Most of the time, he said, it's nothing to worry about, but with pain it should be checked. I've got bursitis & arthritis in both shoulders, knew & hips. They sometimes cause pain but mostly just the noise. I pray you're is nothing new to cause problems! 🙏🌼
Yep, I also have these issues, but my ortho doc won't do anything about it even though he knows there's damage there as well as a bone spur. My right knee does tend to pop but it always pops forward on itself. Never painful but just pops like crazy. Left ankle does the same thing.
I saw my knees Ortho doc two weeks ago to discuss the surgery to remove the bone spur on my left lower leg; it pushes up under the ones call s and my let sometimes buckles on me. He was ready to do it in January, but I was having breathing problems then so he said we'd wait a few months. Now he told me "you have way too many problems going on to recover. I won't do it.". When I pulled up the summary he didn't mention anything about our discussion of his refusal to do the surgery because he thinks I wouldn't recover. I asked him to amend my record, so he wrote that I have Arthritis and surgery won't help it. How's that for a considerate doc? I won't be back to see him. 🙏🌼
