Hi there. I'm new to my range of symptoms and as of now I'm in the 'post viral fatigue' stage. From reading I think I'm more cfs than fibro?? Possibly...l don't have the tender spots ,I don't think, but pain, stiffness, muscle overuse pain, exhaustion, can't think what I was going to say and I forget words. I've recently had days where my limb joints feel as if they are in the wrong place and feel painful/ uncomfortable. I've found that if I move them around in various positions and shake the joint they feel corrected but are then very painful for up to an hour. My limb is then exhausted. This can happen 2-3 times a day to each joint but then won't happen again for a few days. Can anyone identify with this?
Hi dizzy - sounds like joint hypermobility syndrome or Ehler-Danlos Syndrome - cfs and fibro and des are all commonly comorbid conditions; I've got them all too. This book was really helpful for me and there is a second one out now.
PS - this is worse for me around my period. This book explains how your body produces more progesterone around your period which makes your joints more lax. When you ALREADY have hyperlaxity, it can feel like your hips/pelvis are shifting when you move - it's not fun. I tell my husband it feels like my a$$ is going to fall off! lol 😂
