Juice Plus... thoughts?

Sep 20, 2016 11:27 PM

Ok so my cousin was asking how I was doing today and if I was still struggling with my health. Very sweet, but very odd since we really don't talk, just creep on each others Facebook page. Anyways as it turns out she sells juice plus, which she tells me is pretty much powdered fruit and vegetables in capsules. She stated taking it a year or so ago and lost a lot of weight and got much healthier, she looked great in her wedding dress earlier this month. She said her mother in law has fibro and has seen some improvement taking this stuff.
I do think that vitamin deficiencies play a big part in chronic pain, especially with all the manufactured food we eat.
Of course I'm not going to start anything without consulting with my naturopath, but if she gives the go ahead and I'm not intolerant to any of the ingredients I was thinking of buying some, mostly because I'm ok with helping my cousin out.
Has anyone tried it? What are your thoughts on it?

I wonder how it's beneficial ingredients compare with real fruit smoothies + protein powder? Let me know what your Naturopath says.

Had a juicer but thought I was throwing out a lot and it took lots of my time to do. So I got a vitamix. It can be pulpy, but I just add more water. I then was getting in lots of vegetables and fruit. I did this for 6 weeks. Over 2-3 months I lost 60 pounds. Then started to add other foods in to see what I was sensitive to. I had to go through withdrawal of sugars and salt, about a week. I did feel better, appeared to look healthier and inflammation went down. My naturalpath said this was ok for me to do.

I try to eat clean and I also hydrate a lot. I was using a Nutra-Bullet and had lost 90 pounds.. Since different things have occurred and I have more pain and have been moving less, I gained it all back again. It's distressing but I'll get to it again. The only thing I can't have is grapefruit because it interacts with certain meds.. I hope it works for you. Let me know, I may try it.💕🙏🏻🌻😊
